ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ Summer Program at 45th Street

July 1 – August 8, 2025

The Green Tree Summer School provides students with the opportunity to take part in a summer experience that incorporates academics, social skills, and pragmatic language development through an enriched recreational program!

 

ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ teachers plan and lead theme-based sessions that weave together reading, math, social skills, art, music, park visits, and field trips.

 

The Green Tree summer school is open to students who have completed kindergarten through 7th grade. Students and activities are divided into age-appropriate groupings. Therapeutic services are available upon request. Contact us to personalize these services.

Session 1: July 1 – July 11 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)

Chef’s Kiss: Yum! What’s cooking in the kitchen? In this session, students will become expert chefs while taking a focus on nutrition! Students will learn about the different food groups, and foods that make our bodies healthy! We will engage in cooking and baking activities, while using tactile tools and ingredients, and following step-by-step instructions from different recipes. With a pinch of fun, and a dash of creativity, we have the recipe for the perfect summer!

 

Session 2: July 14 – July 25 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)
The United States: Who’s up for a cross-country road trip? Grab your cameras, you don’t want to miss out on the beautiful scenery found along the journey! Throughout this session, students will learn all about famous landmarks found around the country from Mount Rushmore to the Golden Gate Bridge. We are going to have a MONUMENT-AL time uncovering the unique landmarks found within each state!

 

Session 3: July 28 – August 8 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)
Reptiles: Reptiles have lived on Earth for more than 280 million years! Throughout this session, students will learn all about the many different types of reptiles that roam our planet, as well as their unique diets and habitats! Let’s SLITHER our way through our last session!

 

These dates are not set in stone as we are waiting to hear back from the DOE regarding busing so stay tuned for any updates.
